Summary: This is the beginning of a story based on Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy books. I don't own the characters or the world. I'll keep working on it when I get the chance.
He paced the room with agitation. Agitation that was becoming more and more noticable. He was muttering to himself as was also becoming a regular occurance.
Neither were things Anna liked. They bothered her more than she dared to say. They called him a saint - Saint Vladimir...but they also claimed he was insane. Or if not, then he was on his way there.
It certainly seemed to be true. This muttering and agitation only one sign of it. She could feel it in his mind. The darkness that grew more and more as he used this...power that he possessed to help people.
And help people he did. Healing the sick and dying, but never going so far as to bring back the dead. That was...wrong. That was sacriligiouis. It wasn't done.
Only it had been done once. It had been done for her. He had brought her back from the dead and thusly bound them permanently in a way neither truly understood.
